MASKIROVKA SCENE 6

I am responsible for the storyboards for the final scene of the hybrid horror short маскировка (Maskirovka). In the film, a group of traveling performers are revealed to be horrifying monsters. The final scene presented a unique challenge; I had to show that bloodshed brought spring to the small Russian village without any dialogue, and conclude everything in a nice metaphorical bow.

"now" visualizer

As part of my internship with the animation studio Kissing Party, I got to try my hands at a song visualizer! Thanks to their guidance, I came up with a time-themed abstract concept that I turned into a frame-by-fame, hand-drawn animation! This experience taught me so much; it was great to work alongside a song in order to plan timing and make 

nonrepresentational transitions.

two magicians

​A section of a larger script in which feuding magicians show off their skills in order to solidify their spot on the side of the road. Because I was given complete creative freedom, I played around with bold, geometric character designs, made the characters rabbits, and made the conclusion read as misplaced and uneasy- as though the show's creator went rogue. Absurd, but lots of fun to draw!
